The agreement between you and EasyFade. Written to be read, not to be survived.
Last updated 8 August 2026. By using EasyFade you agree to these terms.
EasyFade is a tool that fades the edges of an image into real transparency. It runs in your browser, and also inside Canva as an app. There is a free tier and a paid tier called Pro.
You keep every right you already had in the images you put into EasyFade, and you own the files you make with it. We claim no licence over them, and we could not use them if we wanted to, because they never leave your device. See the privacy policy.
You may use what you make commercially. You do not need to credit us.
You are responsible for having the right to use the images you edit.
The free tier needs no account at all. Subscribing to Pro creates a customer record with our payment processor, Stripe, and that subscription is your account — there is no password.
Access is granted by a signed link sent to your email. Anyone who has that link can use Pro on their device until the subscription ends, so treat it as you would a password and do not post it publicly.
Payments are final. We do not give refunds, including for an unused part of a year. The reasoning is set out in full on the refund policy page: every Pro control is free to use before you pay, so you can see exactly what you are buying, and the free tier keeps working at full resolution afterwards. If you were charged twice or something broke on our end, that is a mistake rather than a refund request, and we will fix it.
Please do not use EasyFade to break the law, to process images you have no right to, or to attack, overload or reverse the service. Do not resell access, and do not present EasyFade as your own product.
We may suspend access if one of these is happening. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.
We aim to keep EasyFade running, but it is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted service. Because the fading happens on your device, most of the tool keeps working even if our servers do not — the parts that need us are subscribing, signing in, and confirming Pro.
Features may change. If we remove something significant that Pro subscribers rely on, we will give notice by email.
To the fullest extent the law allows, EasyFade is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or lost data arising from use of the service. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and if you have consumer rights in your country, these terms do not take them away.
You can stop using EasyFade whenever you like, and cancel from the billing portal. We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of the fair use section above.
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and if a change materially affects subscribers we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use EasyFade after that means the new terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which EasyFade is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
